Started my Snowboard/Action Art series of paintings up in Pepperell. Let's just say I hope to have better snow and a good videographer for the next one, but with the help of a great friend - Thanks Eric - I was able to produce the first of the series. Check out the making of the first piece and let me know what you think.

Going 150mph while drawing. Matt Cheney attempts to draw the plane he just jumped out of. Check out Matt's sky dive and draw session in the video below.
Matt Cheney is jet-setting yet again, this time to England for one of the largest contemporary art "fairs" in the world. For more info check out www.friezeartfair.com and check back here for up-to-date stories and images from the event.
Artist collective, Glovebox, presents Matt's work. The show is titled "Urban Art Market" and will be on display until the end of September at restaurant/bar Goody Glover's (see map) in Boston's North End.
At the Pompidou in Paris my eye caught a paper doorway torn apart; not quite sure what it was until I viewed the video of Murakami punching through the paper doors I then understood that this torn paper captured a moment in time. Having done some studies of my action art, Murakamiâ?(TM)s work motivated me to continue to create my action art utilizing the sports I love.
Went to the International Contemporary Scope Art Fair in East Hampton, New York. Viewed many artists work while enjoying some beautiful weather in the Hamptons.
Went to Cannon Mountain New Hampshire to do some study of ground launch parachuting /speedflying painting techniques. Went well going to be tough, but I think I can do it.
I flew over to California to Los Angeles and Malibu to visit a friend and view various galleries. We had beautiful weather and met some good people.
Enjoyed NYC with friends looking at galleries and enjoying the company of friends over good food and drink.
I am currently planning an event at a ski resort. I have built a ten foot tall easel. Along with a camera crew I will try to capture my performance art while snowboarding.
Video projection and Silver and Blue painting was exhibited at the Middlesex Club Group Show sponsored by Wis.dm in Boston. Another large group of people were there to view my performance art and other artists sculptures and paintings. A diverse group of people from the area came to enjoy the show the open bar with food and DJ.

Went to London checked out the scene, good weather, clubs and galleries.
For my Senior Exhibition I built a half-pipe inside the gallery at 601 Newbury Street Boston, and did a live performance skateboarding and painting at the same time. The exhibition drew a large crowd of viewers who enjoyed the show the sake and the sushi.
